There is a real Alp in Schleitheim, the Alp Babental. This is close to the Anabaptist path.

As sources, church registers, court records and council protocols from Schaffhausen will be used.

A separate room will present the Anabaptist situation in the entire canton of Schaffhausen. Furthermore, the situation in the neighboring Black Forest up to Waldshut / Hubmayer will be examined.

Initiator

The Schleitheim Association for Local History works to promote and preserve local cultural heritage and historical knowledge. The association was founded in 1889.
